Princecraft Launches the All-New Sport 188

Princecraft® Boats, a leading manufacturer of high-quality aluminum boats and a brand within Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC), today announced the launch of the all-new Sport 188 model.

Building on the success of the Sport 175 debut in 2023, the all-new Sport 188 represents the next generation within the Crossover segment. The Sport 188 features a new layout increasing comfort for passengers while cruising or fishing; a larger running surface with 12 extra inches to improve speed, maneuverability and floor space; and more customization options for owners to tailor the boat to their individual needs from cruising to an all-in fishing boat.

Aligned with Sport Series, the aluminum hull on the Sport 188 offers a new design with a 12-inch longer running surface and is the only hull on the aluminum market with a cut nose providing more stability and fuel efficiency. Additionally, the Sport 188 offers 43 percent more space between the bow and cockpit compared to previous models offering functionality and spacious seating options for all onboard.

Additional features of the Sport 188 include:

            • Two multi-position loungers: Providing increased comfort to passengers onboard and the option to sit forward or backward with back seats.

            • Flip-flop passenger seat (optional): Option to upgrade to an extended lounger seat on the passenger side.

            • Stern seating module (optional): Option to upgrade to additional seating room; larger cooler or livewell; adding an oval table for entertaining and convenience

            • Fishing-focused features: Equipped with up to four rod holders in the V-berth; up to three fishing seats; one front livewell (standard) and option to add an additional livewell and/or large casting platform to support fishing adventures.

            • Stylistic design features: Features a bow cover cap made of polyurethane; LED strip docking light (optional upgrade); and three-color schemes with an optional upgrade to a 3D black chrome logo.

The Sport 188 was launched during the Montreal In-Water Boat Show, September 26-29, 2024.
