Nov 30, 2021

Princecraft Boats, a division of Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC), has announced the launch of its Brio 2.0 Electric Series, offering electric propulsion across three completely redesigned models – 17’, 19’ and 21’ – with advanced features to ensure boaters can maximize their time on the water.

“The revamped Brio 2.0 Electric Series is consistent with our strategy to offer boaters more sustainable options without comprising comfort or luxuries of their on-water experience,” said Rodier Grondin, Princecraft® President. “Every detail of the new Brio 2.0 was built around our electric propulsion systems and we are already experiencing record demand for these new innovative models.”

The Brio series is powered by Torqeedo electric engines and offers a solar panel option providing boaters an incredible amount of independence to enjoy a full day on the water. Brio offers the:

· Torqeedo Cruise 2.0 (2000W of input power comparable to 5-6HP)
· Cruise 4.0 (4000W of input power comparable to 8-10HP)
· Cruise 10.0 (10KW continuous power with 12kM boost comparable to 20HP)

Additionally, the Brio series offers a redesigned bow profile roto cast battery box, which can accommodate up to 4x Gr.31 batteries, 2x 24V or 1x 48V Torqeedo Lithium battery. An additional battery bank can also be added as an option on all three models.

New features of the Brio series were designed for weight alignment and lighter construction to maximize on-water power, including new upholstery, a rotomolded console and plus. Each model is also 6’’ inches wider providing additional space to welcome your friends and family onboard.

“Our new Brio Electric Series is the product of our incredible and talented team, and we thrilled to officially launch these models in the marketplace,” continued Grondin. “We look forward to building on our positive momentum and bringing electrification solutions to the industry and our customers.”
