MARINE ISO-BOOST TRANSFORMERS – FIT & FORM REPLACEMENT FOR CHARLES INDUSTRIES MARINE ISO-BOOST

Marine ISO Transformer

June 25, 2019

Energy Solutions now have available for the North American marine market, a range of Marine Iso-Boost Transformers that are a fit and form replacement for the discontinued Charles Industries Marine Iso-Boost. These new units are an excellent option for boats requiring a direct replacement for an existing iso-boost as no adjustments need to be made, as well as being a great addition for new builds requiring the many benefits these units can offer.

The range consists of two models, a 12kVA and a 24kVA. The 12kVA model will automatically select between two input tappings with 208V and 240V nominals – which makes them ideal for boats that will be sailing in both Europe and the US*. With the 24kVA there are two models – one will select automatically tappings at either 400V or 230V allowing 230V boats to make use of 400V three phase supplies (the Euro version) and the other will automatically select between two input tappings with 208V and 240V nominals – which makes them ideal for boats heading to the US (US version). Both models provide a cost effective and reliable solution to isolate and manage a shore line.
