Glomex Satellite Radio Antenna receives more than music

Glomex Satellite Radio Antenna

Nov 30, 2021

Beyond a wide range of commercial-free entertainment, the high-performance Glomex RS100 Satellite Radio Antenna receives SiriusXM Marine for up-to-the-minute weather information and Fish Mapping. It’s simple to install and connect to nearly any multi-function display or an XM-ready radio tuner on virtually any size boat, and is backed by a two-year limited warranty.

The RS100 antenna uses the latest satellite radio technology and exceeds the most recent specifications. It offers an extended frequency range of 2320–2345 MHz (2.3 GHz) for use whether the boat is in the slip or far offshore. The device has a 24 dB gain average, 50 ohm impedance, an SWR rating of ≤2.0:1 and left-hand circular polarization.

Corrosion-resistant, the gleaming white radome is made from anti-yellowing materials. It measures 2″ H x 3.7″ dia. and weighs only 7 oz.

Installing the Glomex RS100 Satellite Radio Antenna is easy due to its universal nylon mount and included 23′ of coax cable. It draws a mere 5V/150mA. Available from GA Communications, the exclusive Glomex distributor in the Americas, it costs $109 USD.
