Maple Leaf Marinas has announced that Peter Hart has joined the company as General Manager of Marinas.
Peter is a lifelong boater who has dedicated himself and time to the Canadian boating industry both nationally and internationally, through the companies and organizations he has represented during his career.
From a young age, Peter began sailing and racing out of Port Credit Yacht Club, eventually starting his career as a Manager with Bronte Outer Harbour Marina in Oakville. Peter has worked with marine organizations in capacities such as Service Manager at one of Canada’s premier boating dealerships, later working with the Sunbrella brand of marine textiles in Sales and Marketing and most recently, Peter was Director of Sales and Marketing with Mercury Marine Canada.
Peter has also dedicated his time and efforts to promoting marine education and the boating lifestyle throughout Canada, serving on the Board of Directors of both the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Discover Boating Canada. Peter has a B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University along with certifications in the marine industry.

The organizers of the Toronto international Boat Show (TIBS) have launched their consumer marketing campaign to potential attendees.
"As we bring in the New Year, the TIBS Virtual Show marketing campaign is well underway with over 70,000 members of the Captain's Club receiving the consumer newsletter, providing great content on the upcoming show!” As communicated in the Exhibitor newsletter, Social Media audiences are making up another 30,000 followers and that they are ‘liking’ and sharing posts about the Virtual Show!
