“I am excited to be part of Torqeedo, which is transforming the marine industry with environmentally responsible solutions and a new user experience. I wanted to work within a fast-moving company that wants to make a difference and has sustainability in its DNA,” said Hård.

Hård continued: “I’m looking forward to leveraging advanced Torqeedo technology to increase uptime and productivity for our customers. Our ultimate goal is to make Torqeedo products easy to own and offer an industry-leading user experience,” Hård concluded. “And we will do so.”

Hård came to Torqeedo from Volvo Penta, where he spent 25 years in various business and operational positions, most recently focusing on aftermarket business development. Hård holds degrees in business & finance from Gothenburg University and IHM Business School.
