Boating Ontario announces new Clean Marine and Special Projects Administrator Rick Legedza

Boating Ontario continues to deliver exceptional member value staying at the forefront of government issues, industry education and engagement while continuing to reimagine and evolve for every single member. At the core is the Boating Ontario team and on January 20, Rick Layzell, CEO announced an addition to the team!

Jeff Wilcox has retired from his role in the Clean Marine program, Boating Ontario’s environmental best practices program. Jeff has been a longstanding supporter of the association and has been pivotal in the relaunch of the new assessment program and Clean Marine handbook. Our sincerest thanks go to Jeff for his outstanding contributions to Boating Ontario and its membership.

Please welcome Rick Legedza (another Rick L, we know!) to Boating Ontario as the new Clean Marine & Special Projects Administrator. Rick Legedza has worked in the recreational boating industry for over 30 years, owning and operating a successful marine refinishing business. Many of you met Rick Legedza at the 2021 Conference in Niagara, and he is excited to continue making connections with all of you!
