Ross Tennant from NW Yacht Group will become the Bare Boat Charter & Sailing School sector group liaison.

The Board of Directors thanks retiring board members Martin Paish, Ian McPherson and Mike Hudson for their years of dedicated service. Don Prittie who stepped down from the President’s position will remain on the board as an honorary Immediate Past President.

Brendon Keys (GA Checkpoint Yamaha) has taken on the role of President while Andy White (Mercury Marine) will step into the First Vice President’s position and Brook Castelsky (Oak Bay Marine Group) will assume the role of Treasurer.

BC Ferries: Queen of Surrey out of Commission until Jan 28th amid Proposed BC Ferries Expansion

BC Ferries vessel Queen of Surrey is expected to remain out of commission until the end of the month, according to BC Ferries.

The vessel, which has been in service for more than 40 years, was pulled from the Horseshoe Bay to Langdale service on January 1st to undergo repairs to its propulsion system.
