New high-voltage USB outlets for power-hungry devices

Hubbell Marine High-Voltage USB Outlets

Dec 19, 2023

Recharging a laptop requires either toting around a bulky charging brick or plugging into one of Hubbell Marine’s USB-C Power Delivery Receptacles. Providing up to 20V/55W, the new outlets quickly repower PCs, and juice-up phones and tablets up to four times faster than traditional adapters.

USB-C Power Delivery Receptacles utilize Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology to optimize electronic efficiency.  The reduced heat and overall size safely allow more power for all onboard and onshore marine applications. Hubbell’s tamper-resistant design adds security and complies with USB BC 1.2 and 3.0 Power Delivery specs.

Hubbell USB-C Power Delivery Receptacles are offered in two configurations. The first contains two USB-C ports, one delivering the higher 55W rating and one a 1.5A/5V convenience port. The second combines the higher voltage USB-C port and a 1.5A/5V convenience USB-A port.

Heavy-duty stainless-steel, Hubbell USB-C Power Delivery Receptacles are rated for 10,000 cycles. Duplex 125VAC power receptacles are available in 15A or 20A models. Extra-durable commercial grade and hospital grade receptacles, where equipment needs to be powered 24/7, are available.

Hubbell Marine USB-C Power Delivery Receptacles are offered in black, white, ivory, light almond, brown and gray. The hospital grade line is also available in red.
