New Light-Commander Plus V2 App Introduced

Light Commander Plus V2

Oct 31, 2023

The award-winning Light Commander PLUS from Shadow-Caster redefined marine lighting control. Now with the V2 version poised to debut, the company is bringing the unit’s companion app for iOS mobile devices online this November.

Like the original controller, the NMEA 2000® compatible Light Commander PLUS V2 with Ethernet provides complete management of all interior, exterior, underwater and accent lighting. The updated V2 version adds Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® connectivity through the Shadow-Caster iOS companion app.

With the Shadow-Caster iOS companion app, users have full access to the Light Commander PLUS V2’s wide range of new features. Pairing a mobile device to the controller is fast and easy. Configuration is intuitive. The ability to select a specific color, brightness, fade and music sync for each light, depending on the fixture, allows users to group the settings as a “scene” for future use.

Shadow-Caster’s pioneering technology contributed to NMEA 2000 lighting control standards and many of its products utilize this plug-and-play protocol. It has longstanding partnerships with marine electronics manufacturers and boatbuilders for integrated lighting control solutions. Shadow-Caster manufactures all its products in the USA.
