Many owners of small- to medium-sized boats rely on shoreside landmarks to navigate. But when fog or heavy rain rolls in, they need the SuperSport Venture SS-PR2 magnetic compass from Ritchie Navigation. Perfect for vessels from 16′ to 35′ in length, it has a compensation module for installing near heavy metal objects.

The SuperSport Venture has a blue 3-3/4″ CombiDial™ card with bold, easy-to-read heading numbers in 30° increments on the side and cardinal directives on top. It’s pre-wired with blue 12-24V LED lighting for use in reduced light. The polished dome has three orange lubber lines for direction reference. The compass comes with a protective slip-on cover.

With Ritchie’s Powerdamp™ system, the SuperSport Venture SS-PR2 performs in extreme conditions. Combined with a hardened steel pivot and triple cup sapphire jewel movement, dial spinning and jumping are virtually eliminated. Card movement is sure and accurate.

The compass allows for vertical to a 40° mounting angle. The durable 6″ x 6-3/8″ polymer base requires a 4-5/8″ hole and four 15/64″ bolt holes. A bulkhead adapter plate is available for refit use. The SuperSport Venture SS-PR2 from Ritchie Navigation comes with a five-year warranty.
