2020 Canadian Economic Factoids Report

The 2020 Canadian Economic Factoids report is now available as a part of the 2020 Canadian Boating Statistical Abstract. This report looks at Canadian economic indicators from 2007-2020 and identifies trends impacting the retail markets.

Gross domestic product (GDP), disposable income, Industry capacity utilization, manufacturing capacity utilization and unemployment rate are a few of the economic indicators discussed in the 2020 Canadian Economic Factoids report.

Key insights from the report include:

• Real GDP shrank 5.3% in 2020.
• Disposable income was up 10.3% in 2020.
• Manufacturing capacity utilization decreased 6.3% as compared to 2019.
The full edition (digital and printed) of the 2020 Canadian Boating Statistical Abstract will be available in December.
