Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd. Named One of GTA’s Top Employers for 2013

Yamaha Motor Canada is extremely pleased to be selected as one of the GTA’s Top Employers for 2013.

Greater Toronto’s Top Employers is an annual competition with applications from 6,000 companies in the Greater Toronto Area. This special designation recognizes the GTA’s employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.

Employers are evaluated on eight criteria: Physical workplace, work atmosphere & social, health, financial & family benefits, vacation & time off, employee communications, performance management, training & skills development and community involvement.

Over 100,000 companies and 40% of Business Headquarters in Canada are located within the GTA. Of the 6,000 applicants, only 95 companies were chosen as GTA’s Top Employers.

Human Resource Manager, Farrah Andani said “This accomplishment is a result of our desire to provide our employees with the best possible work environment and it speaks to the commitment and loyalty of our employees.”

Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.

This year’s winners were announced in The Globe and Mail.
