VOLVO PENTA EARNS 11TH CONSECUTIVE NMMA CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AWARD

Volvo Stern Drive

Volvo Penta has received its 11th consecutive CSI award for excellence in customer satisfaction in marine sterndrive engines.

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) presented the award to Volvo Penta at the 2014 International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) in Tampa, Fla., Sept. 30.

The CSI award signifies that Volvo Penta achieved and maintained an independently measured standard of excellence of 90

percent or higher in customer satisfaction, based on information provided by over 50,000 consumers purchasing a new boat or engine during the period from April 2013 through March 2014.

The CSI program highlights commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, as well as support of industry efforts to improve the consumer boating experience.

“At Volvo Penta we are committed to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction through rigorous quality control, innovative products, industry-leading warranty programs and unmatched after-sale support,” said Marcia Kull, Vice President of Marine Sales, Volvo Penta of the Americas. “We are pleased to be the sole sterndrive manufacturer to have won this award since the program inception. Our 11th CSI award was earned through exceptional products and the dedication and hard work of our customer service team at Volvo Penta. Special thanks go to our extraordinary network of outstanding dealers, who are at the front line of interaction with our customers.”
