IBEX ANNOUNCES “ROCK THE YACHT” CONCERT TO CELEBRATE 25TH SHOW

Little River Band

IBEX, The International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition & Conference, has teamed up with the Kentucky Exposition Center to bring IBEX participants a special concert to celebrate the 25th IBEX Show. The “Rock the Yacht” concert line up will consist of popular rock bands from the 80s, including Little River Band, Ambrosia, Player, Stephen Bishop, and Robbie Dupree playing nothing but the hits from the 80s. The concert will take place at Freedom Hall at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 16 following the close of the exhibit hall at 6:00 pm.

All those attending the International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition & Conference will be given the opportunity to pre-order tickets for the “Rock the Yacht” concert on June 9th & 10th, prior to them going on sale to the general public.   “What better way to celebrate IBEX’s 25th Show than with a concert with classic rock bands from that era,” said Anne Dunbar, IBEX Show Director. “In addition to gaining access to the “Rock the Yacht” concert, tickets will also provide access to an IBEX only Pre-Party before the concert, which will include a DJ, food trucks, and cash bars.” The Rock the Yacht event will follow the Bourbon & Brew Happy Hour taking place on the IBEX Show Floor.

Schedule for Wednesday, September 16th:

IBEX Show Hours: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm – at the Kentucky Exposition Center

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
