NMRA HOSTS MANY EVENTS AT IBEX

NMRA At Ibex

Independent sales reps play a key role in the sales chain. To better educate manufacturers and industry members about this, National Marine Representatives Association (NMRA) is hosting many educational events during the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX).

New for this year, NMRA Ambassadors have been designated at a few key manufacturers who utilize independent representatives. 3M Marine, Dometic Corporation, Todd Marine Products and Turning Point Propellers will have ambassadors in their booths to field questions from potential affiliate NMRA members regarding their experiences and the benefits of using reps.

Also, NMRA will host free “Ask A Rep” sessions in booth #942 on Tuesday, September 15 and Wednesday, September 16 from 10 am to 2 pm. NMRA members with experience in both OEM and aftermarket industry segments will be sharing their expertise for individual discussions and will be available to answer general questions. These brief one-on-one consultations are designed for component or accessory manufacturers new to the industry, or for those who wish to learn more about working with reps. Walk-ins are welcome and appointments can be made through info@nmraonline.org.

NMRA is also sponsoring an exhibitor workshop. Reach New Customers & Boost Sales with Independent Sales Reps will be held in the Exhibitor Workshop Theater at the back of Hall C, on Wednesday, September 16, 5:30 to 6 pm. Presenters will explain how reps work and how they benefit boatbuilders, distributors and dealers. Guidelines on establishing beneficial relationships will also be discussed.

Once again, NMRA is hosting Rep Night on Tuesday, September 15 at Sully’s. The networking event is invitation only and sponsored by NMRA member rep groups, including Atlantic Marketing, Chas. A. Perry & Company, Coatney Sales, Inc., ComMar Sales, Inc., Cressy Marketing, Gartner Group, Great Lakes Marine Marketing, GSW & Associates, Gulf Atlantic Marketing, Haimes-Coleman, JD Wright & Associates, Love & Associates, Macaroni Marketing, Merifield Co., Midwest Outdoor Marketing, Munzinger & Co., Pac-West, Silverlake West Co., SGL Sales & Marketing, SM Osgood Company, Waters & David Co., and William F. Miller & Associates.
