NMMA MOURNS THE LOSS OF ROSS JARDINE, NMMA CANADA HALL OF FAME RECIPIENT
May 30, 2016
NMMA is sad to share the news that Ross Campion Jardine, former General Manager of Campion Marine and NMMA Canada Hall of Fame recipient, has passed away.
Ross dedicated his career to helping grow recreational boating while creating a thriving business in Canada and internationally. His dedication to recreational boating and leadership over the years had a significant, positive impact on the marine industry.
At Campion Marine, Ross was instrumental in charting the course for Campion to grow internationally and to eventually become Canada’s largest independently owned fiberglass powerboat builder. Ross, along with his son, Rex Jardine, introduced numerous boat lines and models to the world of powerboating. The Chase line of Campion high performance boats was essential to the introduction of the APEX Hull – now used on almost every Campion model.
On behalf of NMMA, we offer our deepest sympathies to the family on their loss.
