Largest boat show returns February 23-26, 2017 with new name and new look

With a new name and new look, the Ottawa Boat Show is bringing summer early to Ottawa residents. Returning to the EY Centre from February 23 to 26, the region’s largest consumer show dedicated to boating will give locals a head start planning their summer on the water.

With hundreds of exhibitors under one roof, showgoers will find everything from competition boats, to personal watercrafts, pontoons, canoes, kayaks and a variety of fishing and cottage accessories. The Ottawa Boat Show is a one-stop-shop for boating, from finding and purchasing your dream boat to getting your license.

Plus, the whole family is in for a treat with exciting features, including interactive wildlife educational group ‘Speaking of Wildlife’ and an incredible selection of historical antique and classic boats provided by the Manotick Antique Boat Club. To celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary, Parks Canada will be at the show offering attendees free admission to national parks, national historic sites, and national marine conservation areas operated by Parks Canada.

“With a new name and new look, we really want to focus on the boating industry,” says Meagan Sheehan, Show Manager. “Our tradeshow is one of the best places to get a deal on your next boat, book a family vacation with a local outfitter, cottage accessories and much more. Entertainment for the entire family will be featured over the course of the weekend making it one of the best boat shows to attend this year.”

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
