CHRIS-CRAFT APPOINTS RON BERMAN AS VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING

Chris-Craft, America’s Boatbuilder since 1874, is pleased to announce Ron Berman has joined the Chris-Craft team as Vice President of Engineering.  Chris Collier will continue to oversee design and new product development reporting to Ron.

 
Ron comes to Chris-Craft as an industry veteran, bringing 37 years of experience in product development, manufacturing and product management. Ron has led several design, engineering and development teams within the Brunswick Corporation’s portfolio of boat brands, including Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, Bayliner and Meridian over the past 32 years.  Most recently, Ron served as Vice President of Product Portfolio for Sea Ray Sport Yacht and L Class products.  Throughout his career, Ron has earned 8 U.S. patents for unique designs.

Ron and his wife, Linda, have relocated from the East Coast of Florida and will reside in Sarasota, FL. “We are very excited to see what Ron will bring to our brand. This is an essential step in our aggressive growth plan at Chris-Craft,” President of Chris-Craft Boats, Stephen Heese.
