With the purchase of the company from his father, D’Milo Hallerberg (right), Dylan Hallerberg (left), grandson of Fortress Anchors founder Don Hallerberg, becomes the third generation of the Hallerberg family at the helm.

Fortress Anchors has announced the sale of the company to Dylan Hallerberg, grandson of company founder Don Hallerberg.

Dylan purchased Fortress from his father, D’Milo Hallerberg, with a co-investment from Fortress General Manager Rigo Rogue.

Established in 1986, Fortress offers 17 different models of made in the USA boat anchors under the Fortress and Guardian brand names.

“It’s an honor and privilege to be able to follow in my father’s and grandfather’s footsteps to lead an outstanding group of people producing and supporting what I truly believe are the best anchors available,” Dylan Hallerberg said. “In independent test after test, Fortress anchors have consistently been top-rated for their overall performance, quality and holding capability in any sea bed,” he added.
