BOATING INDUSTRY NAMES 2019 TOP 100 DEALERS

Top 100 dealers

Dec 3, 2019

Boating Industry announced its 2019 Top 100 dealers at a black tie gala on Nov. 24 in Orlando, on the final evening of the inaugural Boating Industry Elevate Summit.

“From the thousands of dealers in North America — and hundreds of nominations — these 100 dealers are the best of the best,” said Top 100 Program Director Jonathan Sweet. “This is the 15th year of recognizing the Top 100 and the dealers on the list just keep getting better, topping $3.5 billion in total revenue in 2018.”

The Top 100 is the only independent ranking of boat dealers in North America.
The list recognizes dealerships that are unsurpassed in business operations, professionalism, marketing tactics, customer service and more. The Boating Industry Top 100 has recognized the top dealers in North America every year since 2005.

The Top 100 is sponsored by the 2019 Leadership Alliance – Volvo Penta, Dealer Profit Services, Evinrude, Kicker Marine Audio and the Water Sports Industry Association.

Quality Boats of Clearwater, Fla. was named as the 2019 Dealer of the Year.
“The 45-year-old company has been a top-ranked member of the Top 100 for years,” Boating Industry content director David Gee said.

“In 2018, the company was especially impressive, growing total revenue by 33.17 percent. Quality Boats improved its facilities, strengthened its operations and invested in its marketing,” Gee said. “The company combines the best of a large operation with the customer service of a family business. That means taking care of its customers and employees, focusing on its tagline, “The difference is quality, the foundation is family.”

The Top 100 list is available at https://boatingindustry.com/top-100/top-100-dealers/. Complete coverage of the Top 100 will be included in the December issue of Boating Industry.

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
