FURUNO UNLEASHES NEW “DEEP IMPACT” TruEcho CHIRP™ FOR NAVNET TZTOUCH3

Furuno Deep Impact

Feb 25, 2020

Furuno has introduced the new “Deep Impact” DI-FFAMP, designed to work  exclusively with the built-in, dual-channel TruEcho CHIRP™ Fish Finder on every NavNet TZtouch3 12″, 16″, and 19″ MFD. The new “Deep Impact” is a commercial-grade power amplifier that takes NavNet TZtouch3’s native 1kW TruEcho CHIRP™ or CW Fish Finder and boosts the power by up to 300%, giving mariners the ability to see fish and bottom structure deeper and clearer than ever before.

The DI-FFAMP boosts the power of NavNet TZtouch3’s built-in Dual Channel, Furuno Free Synthesizer (FFS) 1kW TruEcho CHIRP™ Fish Finder to 2kW or 3kW and multiplies the power to drive virtually any 2kW or 3kW transducer at any frequency. “Deep Impact” ensures that the echo returns on your display come back sharp and clear at every range. NavNet TZtouch3’s TruEcho CHIRP™ Fish Finder with the DI-FFAMP gathers more and higher-quality data than traditional CW Fish Finders, delivering significant advantages in signal clarity and target definition.

While “Deep Impact” is a full TruEcho CHIRP™ Amplifier, it can also easily be configured as a high-power traditional Continuous Wave (CW) Fish Finder and works perfectly with any high-power CW transducer as well. The optional BT-5 matching box enables “Deep Impact” to drive traditional Furuno 5kW and 10kW transducers, making TZtouch3 the highest-power Fish Finder system on the market. “Deep Impact” delivers a combination of low frequency, narrow beamwidth, and a significant power boost that gives NavNet TZtouch3’s built-in Fish Finder the ability to reach deep drop depths over 10,000 feet, lighting up bait balls and individual fish targets virtually anywhere in the water column.

Mariners who have been searching for high-power CHIRP options must take a look at the new DI-FFAMP from Furuno. For more information visit:  www.FurunoUSA.com and www.NavNet.com.
