MAPLE LEAF MARINAS ACQUIRES FOUR MORE MARINAS

Maple Leaf Marinas is excited to announce that as of April 7th, 2020, they have completed the acquisition of four Marinas;

·      Lefroy Harbour Resort and Kontiki Marina in Innisfil, Ontario
·      South Bay Cove Yacht Haven and Paragon Marina in Honey Harbour, Ontario
 
David Rozycki, Maple Leaf Marinas President stated that, “Negotiations for these purchases have been under way for several months.  Although the closing dates of these transactions are not ideal, we believe strongly in the future of recreational boating in Ontario and feel fortunate to be able to acquire four of the finest Marinas on Georgian Bay and Lake Simcoe.”
 
“We are pleased to announce that Ryan Stovold will be staying on as General Manager of Lefroy and Kontiki.  Ryan represents the third generation of Stovolds’ to manage these Marinas, spanning a period of 45 years.”
 
“Robin McKeown will be managing South Bay Cove and Paragon.  Robin is a Certified Marina Manager with 25 years of Marina experience, and formerly managed Beacon Bay Marina (Penetanguishene) and Queens Cove Marina (Victoria Harbour).”
 
Maple Leaf now owns seven operating Marinas, comprising 2,440 slips, including Wye Heritage Marina, Bayport Yachting Centre in Midland and Beacon Bay Marina in Penetanguishene.
