NEW BOATING ONTARIO GOLF TOURNAMENT VENUE ANNOUNCED

Boating Ontario

Aug 16, 2020

Your team at Boating Ontario knows that when it comes to the 2020 Boating Ontario Annual Golf Tournament, your safety is our first priority! That’s why each participant will receive a brand-new mask upon arrival, courtesy of our currency exchange partner Cambridge FX, and all carts will be stocked with a personal bottle of hand sanitizer for each golfer from our friends at Aqua-Tek! Our awesome new venue, Innisfil Creek Golf Club, is also looking out for your best interests and has numerous protocols in place to keep you safe throughout the tournament! Among these protocols are golf cart separators, upside-down green cups for easy ball retrieval, mandatory masks indoors and social distancing outdoors.

“Our compressed season is beginning its start towards fall activities and the tournament is a great way to get together – safely – with friends and to take a well-deserved break,” says Rick Layzell, CEO of Boating Ontario (who does not know how to take a break), “With more than two thirds of the available spots already sold, we are looking forward to an awesome day!”

In addition to welcoming you at a new course, the cost of a 50/50 raffle entry is now included in the admission, a boxed lunch will be in your cart upon arrival, and we’re moving to a plated dinner with pre-arranged seating. We’ll also have a couple surprises throughout the day, so join us out on the course for all the fun and help support the marine industry!

The Boating Ontario Golf Tournament supports the MarineWorx Development Fund, and the future of this program depends on the success of the tournament and your generosity. The MarineWorx Development Fund is an industry-funded, education-focused program designed for all members, of all sizes, in all markets. The purpose of MarineWorx is to reinvest in our industry by providing bursaries, scholarships, and discounts to members and member employees on education programs & courses. We need to continue to grow the industry in the 2020/2021 year through the MarineWorx Development Fund and thank you for your support.

We can’t wait to get out on the course and see your smiling faces on September 9th! Click here to register as an individual or a foursome and consider becoming a hole or whole hole sponsor!
