A well-thought-out boat dashboard optimizes the use of space and ergonomics. That’s why the JBL PRV-275 stereo receiver from Prospec Electronics is the perfect addition to any gauge array. Fitting into a 3.5″ round cutout, its five buttons, rotary encoder and 2.75″ color LCD screen make leveraging the device’s many playback features quick, easy and intuitive.

The JBL PRV-275 stereo receiver is engineered for a harsh outdoor environment. The 4.25″ O.D. UV-stable faceplate, color display, control knob and buttons are marinized for weather resistance.

Aside from AM/FM and weather band, the JBL PRV-275 from Prospec Electronics offers a wide range of inputs. Wired remote ready, it accepts USB, aux and video feeds. With Bluetooth® audio streaming, it’ll play music from a mobile device and display ID tagging.

The proof is always in the sound quality and the JBL PRV-275 doesn’t disappoint. Rated at 4 x 45W peak @ 4 ohms and 2 ohm stable, the receiver delivers clean, accurate sound, especially when paired to JBL marine speakers.

The JBL PRV-275 arrives with three pairs of RCA pre-outs (including a separate sub out) for amplifier and/or subwoofer expandability. Available from Prospec Electronics, in the USA it costs $249.95 USD.
