Bateau à flot de Montréal – thousands of enthusiasts

Bateau à flot de Montréal

Oct 19, 2021

The 12th edition of the Bateau à flot de Montréal took place in a unique atmosphere that characterizes the most beautiful moments spent on the magnificent bodies of water in Quebec! “Water sports enthusiasts, whether visitors or exhibitors, were enthusiastic to meet on the docks of the Port of Call of the Old Port of Montreal!”, Says Marc-André Loyer, president of Nautisme Québec.

From September 24-26, several pontoons, an important segment of boating industry sales, were accessible for viewing and underwent extensive water testing. Grandiose yachts have made many visitors dream. Not to mention a 37-foot sailing catamaran, a great novelty that has helped put the sail forward.

This year, the reductions in sanitary measures made it possible to welcome 2,983 visitors. A significant increase of 47% compared to last year.

“We would like to thank the navigation enthusiasts who came to visit us, the exhibitors and our partners: Aviva, Desjardins and the Old Port of Montreal,” specifies Mr. Loyer. Now, the Quebec Nautical Industry Alliance – Nautisme Quebec is heading to the Montreal International Boat Show. Watch for our communications I the near future to find out more. “
