Pop-up cleats complement modern boat designs

Modern Popup Cleats

Apr 18, 2022

Bulky deck hardware detracts from the appearance of any boat. Classic 202-Series Pop-Up® Cleats from Accon Marine seamlessly blend form and function into a timelessly elegant design. They spring into action at the push of a button for immediate use, then retract flush to the deck with a simple push.

Crafted from durable 316 marine stainless steel for exceptional strength and corrosion resistance, 202-Series Pop-Up Cleats come in polished or brushed finishes to complement existing hardware. A wide range of sizes includes 4-1/2″, 6″, 8″ and 10″ for mooring lines from 1/2″ to 1″ in diameter, accommodating vessels from small skiffs to luxury yachts. Accon also offers optional waterproofing cups for each model.

Every cleat is shipped with a backing plate that doubles as a cut-out template. Installation requires simply scribing the outline, cutting the mounting hole and securing the backing plate, then the cleat, in place. A step-by-step video at www.bit.ly/InstallPopUpCleat illustrates the fast and easy process, whether mounting in a new boat or retrofitting an existing vessel.
Accon Marine invented the pop-up cleat in 1988, making the classic 202-Series Pop-Up Cleat the pinnacle of performance and style for more than 34 years. MSRP starts at $137.19 USD for the 4-1/2″ model.
