ATA Canada Workshop in Quebec, Feb. 9, 2023

Jan 3, 2023

Plan to attend the ATA Canada Workshop on Feb. 9, 2023, in Quebec. “This is a long overdue networking and educational opportunity for the ATA Canada membership, after the pandemic lockdowns we have experienced over the last two plus years.  If you’re in business in the Canadian industrial textiles market, you want to be at this event!” said Mark Tyrrell, ATA Canada Chairman and Vice-President of LaSalle Canvas.

LaSalle Canvas is hosting this one-day workshop in their 20,000 square foot facility. LaSalle is a 60-year-old, family-owned business that started out as a repair shop, repairing tarps, tents and various fabric and rope products. Their current production model includes contract manufacturing to recreational markets and product distribution.

We’ll be starting the day with networking and serving up an array of breakfast items. Next, grab your Double Double (a.k.a. coffee with cream and sugar) and enjoy a live recording of Talking Textiles. Highlights of the event also include a deep dive session on incorporating technology that will cover items like CRMs, VOIPs and equipment demos. Plus, a session on retention and hiring from expert Philippe Levesque-Groleau, PLG Capital Humain. Take in round tables on hot topics like supply chain, succession planning and end the day with a happy hour and more networking.

It’s your time to “discover what’s new, what you can do, and how you can do it. The workshop offers an opportunity to upgrade your skills and stay on top of your game,” said ATA Canada member John Conroy, House of Canvas.

We hope to see you there in 2023! Register https://canada.textiles.org/workshop/

Sincerely,
Christine Gerard
Division Supervisor for ATA Canada

Four Winns’ new H9 is stunning!

CMRA

As of July 1st, 2024 the embargo is lifted on the photos and information about Four Winns’ new H9 model and it is stunning!

About a month ago, I traveled to Charlevoix, MI for a special press event to introduce the H9 to a small group of journalists. The water and the weather were a bit cool but the sun was out and Lake Charlevoix was calm and the Four Winns H9 was very impressive. This is a 29-foot 11-inch luxury day boat with a 9- foot 2-inch beam and it features a fabulous expansive flat floor all the way from the bow rider area to the transom and the swim platform.
