Boating Ontario 50/50 Raffle supports the Georgian Bay Food Network

Jan 3, 2023

Boating Ontario was pleased to present a cheque for $880.00 to the Georgian Bay Food Network. During the Association’s recent Conference, a 50 / 50 raffle was held with a commitment that the Boating Ontario share of the proceeds would be donated to the winner’s choice of local food bank. Adam Hancock of the Electrical Safety Authority was the winner and Adam chose the Georgian Bay Food Network.

Boating Ontario CEO Rick Layzell is shown with Georgian Bay Food Network Founder & Executive Director Alexandria H. and one of her team of volunteers as they very happily received the donation. Alexandria shared with us that they are now serving over 850 families in the local community and this donation is certainly helpful for them.
