ABYC has partnered with NASBLA to offer our members subject matter previously only available to maritime law enforcement officers. Join us November 8, 2023 in Annapolis, Maryland.

Modern GPS Devices are capable of storing vast amounts of navigational data in the form of maps, track lines, waypoints, routes, and more. The data can be used as critical evidence in a courtroom setting. 
 
This course will provide students with the skills to extract and document critical information in a proper, efficient manner that preserves evidence.
 
Attendees will be awarded 8 CEUs upon completion.

• GPS Basics
• Receiver Round-up & Review
• Device Seizure & Evidence Collection
• Legal Considerations
• Conducting a GPS Examination
• Report Writing
