Captain Phab is a family-owned and operated manufacturer of eco-friendly boat care formulations that customers all over Canada use. The owner, Craig J. Willoughby, is an avid boater who has been on the water since he was a young man. He learned that previous owners, Phillis and Abe Kelly were interested in selling. At this time Craig saw an opportunity to expand his business, Lloyd’s Laboratories, to be a player in an industry that he understands the needs of the consumer being one himself.

This is something that customers of Captain Phab products have always found to be helpful and Captain Phab is not just a marketing company; their products are developed, manufactured, packaged, warehoused in and shipped from 613 Neal Drive in Peterborough, Ontario.
Captain Phab is more than just a family-owned boat care company. Lloyd’s Laboratories is, its parent company, which, was incorporated in 1919. As a result, there is around 100 years combined experience formulating products that truly address the needs of their customers and provided a genuine customer service experience through marine distributors Canada-wide.
As an Ambassador of Boating Ontario’s “Clean Marine” program Captain Phab keeps their customer’s using the most advanced and eco-friendly technology. Captain Phab was the first recreational care product brand in Canada to have Terra-Choice and then later attaining the UL EcoLogo designations.
