The ICOMIA World Marinas Conference 2025 has been awarded to Venezia Certosa Marina who will host the meeting in Venice from 15 to 17 October 2025 with the support of the Region and the Municipality of Venice, the Venice Port Authority, the International Airport of Venice managed by Save, Assomarinas, Confindustria Nautica and Confindustria Veneto Est.

Yesterday, at the end of the World Marinas Conference in Vilamoura, Alberto Sonino of Vento di Venezia, the company owning and managing Venezia Certosa Marina, gave an inspiring presentation to delegates which demonstrated his vision for a truly unique conference in 2025 having already secured the support of many of our current sponsors and bringing the official proceedings of the 2023 World Marinas Conference to a fitting end.

Our thanks to everyone involved in the 2023 conference, especially APPR and Marina de Vilamoura for their generous support and to Martinho Fortunato of Marina de Lagos and all of his team for their infinite energy, delivering what has been heralded as the best conference yet.

Now we officially hand the baton over to ‘the oldest city of the future’, Venice.
