Wajax is thrilled to announce its expanded relationship with Volvo Penta. Wajax has been named the primary distribution partner and the main point of contact and resource for all Volvo Penta marine leisure dealerships in Ontario and Quebec. Leveraging its extensive network of branches, Wajax, a leading provider of industrial equipment and solutions, ensures close proximity to customers’ businesses, providing local resources and support for all Volvo Penta product and service needs.

As of February 1, 2024, Volvo Penta has transitioned all existing dealership agreements to Wajax, ensuring a smooth and seamless customer experience.

This expansion marks a significant milestone in Wajax’s longstanding relationship with Volvo Penta, beginning in 1998 as a marine commercial and industrial partner.

“We are excited to embark on this new venture with Volvo Penta,” said Joe Di Pede, VP Powertrain at Wajax. “Our commitment to excellence and dedication to our customers align perfectly with Volvo Penta’s values. Together, we are primed to deliver unparalleled service and support to our customers.”

As part of this expansion, Wajax welcomes John Matheson as the main point of contact for all Volvo Penta leisure marine customers. With years of industry experience, John brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role, ensuring seamless support for all parts, service, technical assistance, warranty inquiries, and more.

“Volvo Penta is deeply committed to our Marine Power Centers and we are thrilled to strengthen our service network through our trusted partnership with Wajax,” said Jens Bering, Volvo Penta Vice President of Marine Sales. “Wajax’s dedication to customer service and extensive branch network make it an ideal partner for expanding our presence in Ontario and Quebec.”
