As the premier product compliance program for boats, yachts, boat trailers, personal watercraft (PWC) and marine oils in the U.S., NMMA Certification impacts the recreational marine industry worldwide, helping to improve boat manufacturing and ensuring safe, high-quality products for consumers throughout the world. The NMMA Engineering team is dedicated to product safety and supporting our members as they work towards achieving certification.

2025 Model Year Deadlines
Continuing the certification work for 2025MY is essential to ensure all builders meet the applicable industry standards. It is imperative that all members complete certification early in the model year to mitigate liability and guarantee a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers.

Deadlines:

            • Scheduling your 2025MY inspection—within 30 days of signing the annual agreement

To sign your master model list, please log into www.ect.nmma.org select the Reports tab and use the drop-down menus to generate the master model list for electronic signing via DocuSign. Once the master model list has been signed, the document will be available for you to view and/or print from the documents tab in ECT.
