Enovation Controls Partners with C-MAP to Bring Marine Capabilities to No Roads

October 13, 2026

Helios Technologies, Inc., a global leader in highly engineered motion control and electronic controls technology, has announced a partnership between its operating company, Enovation Controls, and C-MAP® to integrate C-MAP’s X charting marine cartography platform into Enovation Controls’ No Roads™ platform.

Introduced in May 2025 as an off-roading navigation application developed by Enovation Controls and i3 Product Development, No Roads™ combines intuitive mapping with the ability to integrate with vehicle systems and Enovation Controls’ rugged displays. The C-MAP partnership extends No Roads™ into marine navigation, building on the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ capabilities added last month.

The collaboration combines Enovation Controls’ expertise in marine electronics, displays and connected experiences with C-MAP’s digital marine cartography. Through the partnership, C-MAP charting will be integrated into compatible Enovation Controls displays and the No Roads™ mobile application, extending the navigation experience beyond the helm.

“Marine has long been an important market for our Electronics segment, and this partnership is another step in expanding the connected experiences we can deliver to our customers,” said Billy Aldridge, President, Electronics for Helios. “By combining C-MAP’s proven marine cartography with the No Roads™ navigation platform, Enovation Controls is able to bring a comprehensive embedded display plus mobile solution to global marine markets, giving original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) new ways to deliver a better experience on the water.”

The integrated product offering will provide comprehensive coverage of North American inland and coastal waterways, along with global marine charts, allowing Enovation Controls to support customers worldwide through a single platform. By bringing navigation, vessel information, and other digital experiences together, the partnership advances No Roads™ toward a seamless experience between the helm display and the mobile app, so boaters can move from one to the other without missing a beat.

“This partnership represents an important milestone for C-MAP as we continue expanding the reach of our X charting platform,” said Max Cecchini, Director of C-MAP, Electronic Solutions, Navico Group. “By bringing DISCOVER™ X to Enovation Controls customers, we’re introducing our latest charting technology to a new segment of boaters and helping more people navigate with confidence, whether they’re exploring new waterways, enjoying watersports, or spending weekends on the water.”

C-MAP integration is planned for compatible Enovation Controls displays on model year 2027 products, with integration into the No Roads™ mobile application targeted for spring 2027, ahead of the boating season.

Enovation Controls offered an early look at C-MAP running live on new Enovation Controls display technology during the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX), October 6–8 in Tampa, Florida.

Good Advice that You Can Share – The Art of Anchoring

Unless a boat is secured, it will drift away. If it cannot be attached to something secure, such as a dock, piling, mooring buoy, tree, or boulder, it must be anchored. There is much more to anchoring than simply tossing the anchor over the side.

An anchoring system has two parts: the anchor itself and the rode which connects the anchor to the boat. To be effective, an anchor must have good holding power, and the rode must be strong enough to withstand the strains that are put on it.
