MARLOW-HUNTER RENDEZVOUS AT SPECIALTY YACHTS IS INDEED SPECIAL

Marlow Hunter

The 2014 summer rendezvous schedule starts with truly something special, "We congratulate our long time dealer consistently in the Top 10 in sales and customer service on being in business for 50 years", stated Mr. John T Peterson, President of Marlow-Hunter, LLC.  "And there isn't a better way to kick off the season, than to be at the Specialty Yachts Rendezvous for the 35th consecutive year," Peterson went on to elaborate..

With over 120 boats expected for this event held at Thesis Island at Telegraph Harbour Marina, Mr. Lawrence Fronczek, owner and President of Specialty Yachts, states, "Our success started with my father some 50 years ago this summer by placing the customer on a pedestal and never taking your eye off of him.  It is a constant focal point of our organization as we have now sold new and used over 3,000 sailboats.  This year's rendezvous is just one example, although a very visible one, of an extension of our total customer focus, and it all centers around what boating is…fun."

Other events planned by Marlow-Hunter, its' dealers and Hunter Sailing Associations (HSA) are as follows:
•             The 11th Annual Summer Sailstice (original sponsor) (June 21st)
•             The 16th Annual Southern Chesapeake Leukemia Cup Regatta (July 11th)
•             Lake Erie South Shore Hunter Sailing Association Rendezvous (July 18th – July 20th)

•             England East Coast Rendezvous (August 2nd – August 3rd)
•             True North Yachts Rendezvous (August 8th – August 10th)

Specialty Yachts is an exclusive Hunter sailboat dealership, and recently started to market the Marlow-Mainship trawler line, now serving the Pacific Northwest from its Granville Island location in BC and the greater Seattle area. NMEA

The 2024 Marine Electronics Conference & Expo, held by the National Marine Electronics Association, (NMEA) took place September 16 to the 20th in Providence, Rhode Island. Boating Industry Canada was there for the first time and we were very impressed with what we found.

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
