CANOE COVE MARINA AND BOATYARD GETS NEW 83 TON MARINE TRAVELIFT

Canoe Cove Travelift

Canoe Cove Marina and Boatyard have now received their brand new 83 ton Marine Travelift. This makes Canoe Cove’s the largest Travelift on southern Vancouver Island. Not only does the new lift pick up a tremendous weight, it is also wider than all island lifts south of Campbell River. Yachts and commercial vessels up to 80’ long and 22.5 ‘wide weighing up to 166,000 lbs. will be able to be lifted and to be worked on by the owners or by one of the many excellent marine service provider’s at Canoe Cove. Canoe Cove Marina and Boatyard was the first on Vancouver Island to purchase a Marine Travelift almost 50 years ago! This recent acquisition is Canoe Cove’s fifth Marine Travelift, the first one purchased in 1964, had a lifting capacity of just 12 tons!
