Buckeye Marine Remains Top Ranking Ontario Dealer In The 2011 Boating Industry Top 10

Buckeye Marine was again  ranked as the Top Dealer in Ontario for the 7th consecutive year in Boating Industry Magazine’s annual Top 100 Dealer Awards and the only Canadian dealer to have been ranked in the program every year since the inception. Although retaining this stature is an exciting accomplishment in itself, Buckeye is also proud to rank 8th in North America and also as the Top ranking single location dealership in Canada.

“To be once again named in the Top 10 dealers on the continent is an amazing accomplishment that we share with our staff and our customers.” claimed Carly Poole, Buckeye’s Marketing Manager.  “As more dealers apply to the program and the competition becomes tougher, we are even more proud of our ranking. This award is not only a great reflection of the hard work and dedication of our team here at Buckeye, it also proves what gaining and maintaining top notch customers  can do for your business. Through the input and years of support we have received from these two key groups, as well as our manufacturers, vendor partners, industry groups and our local community, we have been able to shape and fine tune our systems and programs. We feel that the Top 100 program helps us to grow and better our business to suit the needs of our boaters and helps to make us the best company we can be.”

“We also want to applaud all of our fellow Canadian dealers who made the 2011 Top 100 program. The Canadian dealer presence has steadily increased since the program’s inception not only by the number of dealership participating but also through their ranking amongst North American dealers.” states Poole. “Buckeye is very proud of its fellow Canadian dealers and feels that the growth in Canadian representation proves that we as Canadian’s have much to offer our customers and the North American market. We continue to encourage other Canadian dealers to join this elite group, as it not only helps you to become a better business it also helps to improve our industry as a whole.”

Boating Industry Magazine’s Top 100 Dealers Program is an editorial-based awards program which is designed to recognize and celebrate the best-of-the-best among marine dealers. This information is then used to share best practice and benchmarking data with the entire universe of marine dealers. To be considered, dealers must complete and submit an application form outlining business practices, financials and future plans. Successful applicants are then invited to a gala awards banquet concluding the Marine Dealers Conference and Expo held annually. The gala includes the countdown of the Top 100 and outlines a brief bio on each dealer. These bios are printed in a BI special publication which also gives an overview on each of the top 10 dealers. Buckeye was noted for its expense savings, marketing initiatives, service practices and more in the 2011 publication.
