CAREFREE OPENS NEW CLUB IN TORONTO, CANADA

Carefree Boating

Steve and Karin Taylor, owners of Carefree Boat Clubs in Fort Myers and Cape Coral, Florida, are pleased to announce the opening of their third location near Toronto, Ontario. The grand opening will take place beginning of May this year at the Lefroy Harbor Resorts Marina. This beautiful marina will provide boat club members with carefree boating on historic Lake Simcoe, located less than an hour drive from downtown Toronto, and just 15
minutes south of Barrie.

Steve, originally from Canada, said, “A large number of our Florida boat club members are
Canadians who enjoy boating in Florida during the winter. Our Toronto location will now allow them to enjoy the benefits of boating with the Carefree Boat Club close to home during the summer months.“

“Lake Simcoe is a fantastic boating area with its numerous beaches and excellent fishing. We are pleased to bring our boat club concept to this boating community. The Taylor’s Florida clubs have excelled in customer service, so we are confident the Toronto members will experience the same excellent service on Lake Simcoe,” said Carefree Boat Club CEO, Doug Zimmerman.

Carefree Boat Club started in 2002 and has grown to 28 locations. The Toronto club is the
company’s first international location. Local clubs are independently owned and operated through a
licensing agreement. They provide their members with access to a variety of boats, with none of the
work of owning a boat. Members can boat for less cost than owning, and have access to multiple
locations.
