For Canada, Northport Systems Inc. and in the USA, Gemeco Marine Accessories, have announced the availability of intelligent National Marine Electronic Association (NMEA)-compliant interfaces, gateways and cables from Actisense®. Renowned for quality engineering and designs that protect and enhance the integrity of a boat’s electronic systems, the innovative NMEA 2000® product range is purpose-built to meet industry standards, greatly simplify installation and withstand the harsh marine environment.

Working closely with the NMEA, the manufacturer of Actisense products, Active Research Limited, is at the forefront of refining and updating marine industry standards, ensuring its interfaces, gateways and cables overcome the ease-of-use and interoperability issues commonly associated with marine electronics. Actisense interfaces, connectors and gateways allow systems to operate together, while ensuring electrical isolation and compliance with all NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 standards.
