On March 15, Boating Ontario issued an open letter to the media regarding the Luxury Tax and the negative impact it was having on employment in the Canadian marine industry. The letter also addresses the negative financial impacts the Luxury Tax is having. Boating Ontario has done extensive work and lobbying on the Luxury Tax along with the Canada’s other Marine Trade Associations including Boating BC, Boating Atlantic and the NMMA Canada.
