2021 Canadian Boating Statistical Abstract: Economic Factoids Report now available

NMMA’s 2021 Canadian Economic Factoids report is now available as a part of the 2021 Canadian Boating Statistical Abstract. 

This report looks at Canadian economic indicators from 2008-2021 and identifies trends impacting the retail markets. 

Gross domestic product (GDP), disposable income, industry capacity utilization, manufacturing capacity utilization and unemployment rate are some data included in the 2021 Canadian Economic Factoids report. 

Key insights from the report include:

• Real GDP shrank 4.6% in 2021.

• Disposable income increased 2.9% as compared to 2020.

• Industrial capacity utilization increased 4.6% to an average of 82.1% as compared to 2021.

The full edition (digital and printed) of the 2021 Canadian Boating Statistical Abstract will be available in 2022 Q3.
