The International Marina Institute (IMI), a training subsidiary of the Association of Marina Industries (AMI), is launching a summer webinar series, starting July 16, 2013. Webinars on topics related to marina operations and regulations will occur every Tuesday at 1:00pm (Eastern) until August 20.

For Canadian industry members, some subjects, like the webinar on July 16 will deal with U.S. subjects such as “Demystifying the Healthcare Act,” which will not benefit Canadian operators.

However, later topics will have more universal value.  The 2013 summer schedule is as follows:
7/16 Demystifying the Healthcare Act
7/23 Mobile App & Social Media at Your Marina
7/30 Identifying Gaps in Your Insurance Policies
8/6 The Right Stuff: Perfecting the Art of HR Management
8/13 The Technological Future of the Marina Industry: Connect with your customer 8/20 Preparing for the Costs of OSHA Enforcement

These live one-hour presentations will cost $39 for AMI members ($59 for non- members). Additional webinars, after attending a first webinar, will cost $25 for AMI members ($45 for non-members). IMI webinars are comprised of an online PowerPoint presentation with live audio and instant messaging between presenter and all attendees.
