PRINCE EDWARD YACHT CLUB 75th ANNIVERSARY

Prince Edward Yacht Club

As part of the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the Prince Edward Yacht Club, the club is hosting the Eastern Yacht Circuit 3 day regatta.
The club emphasizes that this year's event offers more than just racing. Prince Edward County holds something for everyone. So, the Prince Edward Yacht Club members invite other yacht club members to plan your vacation around the week ending July 11th, 12th and 13lh, the regatta days.

Before the races, take a leisurely sail with your family to Picton with or without your racing crew; they can drive down later. Visitors can sample produce from world class wineries and restaurants, and view products from local artisans in the days leading up to the race.
Another option is to prep your race crew by sailing to Picton either using the inside or outside routes and practice race tactics on route, with your family meeting you here for a post-race vacation.

Since not all members of a sailing family wish to race, your non-racing partners and family members can tour anyone of a number of the local attractions, including the beautiful Sandbanks beaches, and meet later for festivities at Prince Edward Yacht Club. Some of the local wineries have pick-up and drop-off vehicles. There are numerous B&Bs, Inns and Motels for those looking for overnight accommodations on land as well as award winning restaurants for post-regatta celebrations or to just wind down.

Prince Edward Yacht Club invites you to organize an impressive flotilla to represent your Club and strut your stuff on this end of the lake. There are links to supporting/sponsor businesses on the race web site www.peyc.reach.net
