Nov 28, 2022The comprehensive ICOMIA (International Council of Marine Industry Associations) International Distributors' Guide has been updated and enhanced to improve the ability of ICOMIA Member Associations to assist their members in the development of international distribution networks.
The updated guide was introduced to the global marine industry at METSTRADE 2022 last week. It will be available to members of the 37 marine industry associations around the world that are affiliated with ICOMIA. Key enhancements include new sections on product marketing and on the use of social media networks to support development of distribution networks.
The updated Distributors' Guide was authored by Barrow International in the UK and by USA-based marine products distribution network development and marketing firm Home Port Global.
Established in 1966, ICOMIA brings together national marine industry associations in one global organisation and represents them at an international level, presenting a strong and united voice when dealing with issues challenging the industry.

Compact Antenna Brings TV/FM Onboard
Televisions on a boat are increasingly commonplace. With the simple-to-install Glomex Avior VT300 Omnidirectional TV/FM antenna from GA Communications, it's never been easier to bring analog and digital broadcasts onboard—at a price that's hard to ignore.
The most noticeable feature of the Avior VT300 antenna is its compact white, anti-yellowing radome. At only 4" dia. x 8" H and 8.8 oz., it's specifically made for smaller boats that can't accommodate large TV antenna domes and only need short range reception, depending on height and conditions. The amplifier allows the antenna to have an increase in gain with a 24.5 dB average to receive vertical and horizontal polarized TV signals simultaneously from 360°.
