AMI PRESENTS 2018 BOARD OF DIRECTORS AT IMBC

The Association of Marina Industries (AMI) elected its 2018 officers and directors at its annual International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC) held January 31 – February 2, 2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Joe Riley, Certified Marina Manager (CMM) was appointed chair; Chris Petty of Suntex Waterfront Management was appointed vice chair; Chris Dolan of Marina Electrical Equipment, Inc. was re-appointed secretary; and John Swick, CMM, of Safe Harbor Marinas was appointed treasurer.

This year, AMI welcomes two new members elected to the 2018 board of directors for a three-year term – Giuseppe Alvarado of Shilshole Bay Marina and Marieke van Peer, CMM, of Suntex Waterfront Management. AMI also welcomes Enza Montano of Westrec Marinas who was elected to the board of directors for a two-year term. Meanwhile, theAMIBoard bids farewell to Jeff Rose, CMM, of Safe Harbor Marinas and to Keith Knowlton, CMM, of Port of Milford.

The new board members will join the existing board o fdirectors which includes:Brad Gross, CMM; Ronaldo Souza, CMM, ofWestrec Marinas;Austin Cameron ofVIPMarina,LLC; RayFernandezof Bridge Marina; John Chiazza ofUSI Insurance Services LLC,Inc.;Bob Evans, CMM; Michael Short, CMM, of Vancouver Marina; Kevin Thompson of Bellingham Marine; David Bluestone of Morningstar Properties; Rick Chapman, CMM, of Port of Sunnyside Club, Inc.; and Jason Johnson of Marine Travelift, Inc.
