Aquila Expands Nordic Presence

June 10, 2025

Aquila Power Catamarans announces Skandinavisk Katamaran Center ApS as its newest official dealer, serving Northern Europe. This partnership continues Aquila’s targeted expansion in Europe, connecting Nordic boaters directly with the brand’s power catamaran lineup.

Skandinavisk Katamaran Center, based in Coppenhagen, Denmark brings valuable experience in the catamaran market to this new partnership. Led by Bjarne Holst Pahus, the company becomes the exclusive distributor for Aquila Power Catamarans in Denmark, Germany, Poland, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. With this appointment, Aquila customers throughout these key European markets will gain access to dedicated sales and support capabilities.

“The Nordic region offers unique opportunities for Aquila,” says Nick Harvey, Chief Revenue Officer at Aquila Power Catamarans. “Skandinavisk Katamaran Center brings valuable experience with multihulls in Northern European waters. Their understanding of local boating conditions and customer needs makes them an excellent partner to introduce our power catamarans to this important market.

Bjarne Holst Pahus, owner of Skandinavisk Katamaran Center said: “We’re excited to add Aquila’s innovative power catamarans to our offerings. Having worked extensively with sailing catamarans, we recognize how Aquila’s stability and spacious layouts will appeal to Nordic boaters who face challenging sea conditions. This partnership allows us to expand our expertise into the growing power catamaran segment.”

The timing aligns well with growing interest in power catamarans across these European markets, where boaters value vessels that offer stability in challenging conditions while providing the space and comfort needed for their time on the water.
