Beneteau America announces the appointment of Castaways Yacht Club as their representative for Beneteau Powerboats in the Long Island Sound, Long Island and Northeastern New Jersey regions.

Situated in the sheltered New Rochelle Harbor, Castaways Yacht Club (CYC) is a full service facility and marina in its 50th year of operations, with a secondary sales office in Sag Harbor, NY. CYC has developed a reputable and customer-oriented organization that is also committed to navigation and seamanship proficiency, from yacht management and handling to the promotion of good fellowship between their members and the yachting community.

Justin Joyner, powerboat sales manager for Beneteau in North America acknowledged the successful start of CYC at the Fort Lauderdale boat show, with numerous boats on order including Beneteau’s flagship, the Monte Carlo 6. “Castaways Yacht Club represents exactly the type of partners that we are continuing to seek out in order to augment the current distribution network,” commented Joyner. “We are confident they will excel in their mission to connect customers looking for a world class production boat with Beneteau – a name already famous for its sailboat tradition and rich with 130 years of building boats.”

Castaways Yacht Club also expressed their enthusiasm over the new partnership. John Novak, CYC’s sales director noted: “Representing a prestigious product like Beneteau and having the support of a financially sound company who understands the needs of our customers is a unique chance. With Beneteau’s impressive portfolio of express cruisers, trawlers and flybridge motoryachts, we couldn’t be better equipped to meet our clients’ satisfaction – beyond their expectations, as always!”

Castaways Yacht Club will represent Beneteau Powerboats at this year’s Yachts Miami Beach boat show, February 11-15 2016 and take part in the debut events surrounding the launch of the Gran Turismo 40, Gran Turismo 46 and Swift Trawler 30.
