The 2022 Boating Ontario Golf Tournament, held at beautiful Bonaire Golf Club in Coldwater, Ontario on Tuesday August 30th was an overwhelming success. “The excitement of our annual tournament had been building and we were blessed with beautiful weather, giving our members an incredible opportunity to network and chill,” said Boating Ontario CEO, Rick Layzell.

The tournament, which raised funds for the MarineWorx Development fund, sold out in record time. The MarineWorx Development Fund is an industry funded, education focused program designed for all members, of all sizes, in all markets. The purpose of MarineWorx is to reinvest in our industry by providing bursaries, scholarships and discounts to members and member employees on education programs & courses centered around the marine sector.

Sincere thanks are extended to all players and sponsors for their support and Congratulations to Team Dockside Marine Group on winning this years’ event.

Boating Ontario is now planning for our annual conference to be held at the Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville from November 28 to November 30th, 2022. “We have an outstanding agenda this year, and we look forward to welcoming our Boating Ontario members to a conference that offers more networking opportunities, learning opportunities and education opportunities specifically geared for business development,” said Rick Layzell.
