CANADIAN YACHTING MEDIA APPOINTMENT: JILL SNIDER, VICE PRESIDENT

Canadian Yachting Media is pleased to announce the appointment of Jill Snider to the position of Vice President effective immediately.

Jill brings to this position a long-standing career in the recreational boating industry alongside family ties to the boating marketplace with significant experience in sales and marketing management along with an intimate knowledge of the boating landscape.

A graduate of the three-year Marine Technology & Recreation program at Georgian College, Jill subsequently joined the faculty of Georgian’s Marine Engine Mechanics Program.

Jill joined Canadian Yachting Media in early 2019 as a sales team member. Previously she held a series of roles including Sales Manager at Huronia Marine Developments and Manager at South Bay Cove Marina.

In her role, Jill’s mandate will expand to include responsibilities within the Kerrwil Group. She will continue to lead the development and growth of the PORTS Guides, Boating Equipment News, The Toronto and Vancouver Boat Show guides and the Boating Ontario Directory while working with the firm to improve its efficiency and achieve its sales goals across its platforms. She will also steer the future development as a senior manager of the company as it looks forward.   

Kerrwil President, John Kerr, notes that Jill has shown managerial qualities since joining the team. “Jill has demonstrated her leadership skills and commitment to being a team player.”

Based in Midland, ON, Canadian Yachting Media is a subsidiary of Kerrwil Publications Limited. Its core brands are Canadian Yachting Magazine, Boating Industry Canada and PORTS Cruising Guides.
